SMD Powerinduktivitäten von NCC

Nippon ChemiCon is introducing an SMD high-current inductor for the first time. This has a current-carrying capacity of up to 30 A and an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +150 °C.

The SMD series KA is available in the dimensions 10.5x11x10.3 mm.

The construction with only one winding enables, on the one hand, a very low DCR of only 0.78 mΩ, on the other hand, the short-circuit safety is additionally guaranteed.

The robust SMD inductor with the embedded electrical and mechanical solder pads is tested up to a vibration resistance of 100 G and specified up to 30 G.

The AEC-Q200-qualified high-current inductors are suitable, for example, for use as input filter chokes in motor control systems, such as in pump systems EOP/ EWP (Electric Oil/Water Pumps), EPS (Electric Power Steering) or in the field of infotainment.

The inductors are also intended as a replacement for rod core chokes, if these can be mounted on a printed circuit board.

The chokes are available with 3 different inductance values - 0.7 µH, 0.5 µH and 0.4 µH.
