Metal Composite Inductors
Prosperity Dielectrics Co., LTD. (PDC) is expanding its portfolio in the field of metal powder inductors.
Previously the designs 0420, 0630, 1040, 1250/65 and 1770 were available, the series of metal powder inductors is now extended by the designs 0412, 0418, 0512, 0515, 0520, 0650 and 1050.
This creates a finer gradation of the inductors in relation to the specific values in the application. This gives customers the opportunity to find the right inductor for their application from a modular system.
PDC covers a standard range of values from 100nH up to 100µH. Special values are possible on request too. The current values are in the range of 1A ~ 120A depending on the design and inductance. PDC also offers AEC-Q200 qualification for the 0420, 0630 and 1040 series.
Depending on the material, the working temperature ranges are up to +125°C. For automotive, individual values were also specified up to +150°C.
The power inductors of the MCS are available in 3 material compositions, the standard version "Anti-Rust Alloy", the "low DCR Carbonyl Iron Powder" and the "Economy Version".
These inductors are used in all common AC/DC and DC/DC converters that are used in the industrial sector, at higher temperatures or in the automotive sector.
