KW04 Series

Recently, emission regulations for motor vehicles have been tightened as part of global warming measures and the market for electric vehicles is steadily increasing.

With the increasing number of electric vehicles, the number of charging point usage is also increasing and the life cycle of the plugs/contacts is being reached.

As a rule, charging plugs that have reached their product life must be completely replaced.

However, JAE has designed the KW04 so that the plug interface can be replaced individually. This concept reduces the time required as well as the cost to replace defective or worn interfaces.

In addition, for safety reasons, double insulation has been introduced to protect the live part inside from water, even if the outer casing has been damaged.

The KW04 from JAE meets the European safety standards according to IEC62196-3 and has been CE certified by TÜV Rheinland.

The EV charging plugs are available in 150A and 200A versions, which are specified with 10,000 mating cycles. For both versions, a cable length of 4.0m to 8.0m can be selected.
