Steckverbinder für Energiespeichersysteme

With the ESP (Plug) and ESS (Socket) series, Degson is introducing a new generation of connectors for energy storage systems. In the largest version, cables with up to 50mm² can be contacted and have a rated current of up to 200A.

Naturally, these connectors are waterproof and dustproof to IP67 and are therefore also suitable for use in harsh environments. To prevent confusion, the positive and negative pole connectors are colour-coded and mechanically coded accordingly. Despite this coding, the plug connector allows a complete rotation of 360° when plugged in. A locking mechanism also ensures that the connector does not come loose due to vibrations. It also fulfils UL 4128 for connectors in electrochemical battery system applications.

Three different contacting options are available on the rear of the add-on housing, such as screw connection, crimp and busbar version.
